Listening to this split EP with no background knowledge of the bands other than where they are based from. The opening track by Hwi Noree, Mechanical, is more hardcore/metalcore than I expected. In fact, it sounds very southern hardcore. The second track, has a very Every Time I Die vibe. The vocals sound much like Pantera's vocalist with a modern metal flare. Okay, now the third track is all mathcore. Crazy. Anyway these songs are fun and full of slam-dancing and circle-pitting potential.

Now for Shit Yourself Little Parrot from Spain. This is completely different. This is like if Parasite-era See You Next Tuesday, HORSE the Band, and The Number Twelve Looks Like You collided in a T intersection. Sludgy breakdowns, Nintendo synths, from dissonant to jazzy chords, and grinding vocals. Their second track in particular, Jafudha Cresques, must be the theme of a video game from Hell.
